The exterior of the temple is dome shaped and it is lighten up every evening. The temple has two lines for the visitors to go inside of the temple; one is considered to be a regular queue which is mostly crowded while the other queue is for people with special passes or any V.I.P guests coming for darshan.
Once you enter the temple you would come across the wooden doors which are golden plated, are carved with images of the Ashtavinayak.
(Ashtavinayak signifies the eight manifestations of lord Ganesha which are present all over different parts of Maharashtra)
Past the door you can see the inner roof of shrine to be gold plated and just below that lies the statue of lord Ganesha.
The sanctum also has lord Hanuman's idol inside it.
In the vicinity of the temple you would see a huge mandar tree also know as Indian coral tree, it's twigs spread all over the temple.

The most common and practiced belief or myth among people here is that if the unmarried couples, engaged, live in partners or lovebirds visit the temple, they might suffer a split. The reason behind this is because of the relationship between two people is considered to be impure as they are not yet married, as marriage signifies the purest form of flaming bond between two people.
