Chandigarh is the primary travel stop for all travellers before they head towards their desired destination to the state of Himachal Pradesh. One has to get down at Chandigarh, if travelling by train, to get to Shimla or Manali. Most of the tourists spend a day or two in Chandigarh to have a look around city's most famous places, markets and to hog on street food.
