Hello guys!!!
Welcome back to another blog.
In today's blog, I will update you with new travel system that has been bought into practice and about to be followed by many European countries and world to make the travelling easier for tourists and locals.
World's first covid Passport technology was put on trial at the Heathrow airport in london. It allowed passengers to travel without the risk of being quarantined in future. By implying this authorities will have to trust the lab results that are updated from other countries.
What is Immunity Passport?
The idea of Immunity Passport is that it is a presentable proof of immunity to Covid-19 in a form of app.
CommonPass software or an app is developed to let people travel the world without the need to be quarantined.
Where Is It Tested?
The tech is very much at the trial stage using volunteers under the supervision of official authorities on flights between London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore under government observation.
Major airlines such as United flights and Cathay Pacific are trying out CommonPass software to help with outcomings.
How does it work?
Step 1: Person gets tested at an approved lab in their home country, or gets vaccinated when one becomes available.
Step 2: Results are sent to a local or national registry database or a 'personal health record' like Apple Health or Google's CommonHealth app.
Step 3: App determines current entry rules for the destination, where the lab test was carried out and the result and whether the traveller meets the country's entry requirements.
Step 4: Person sees if they will be cleared to travel/enter their destination country.
Step 5: App generates a QR code that can be scanned by airline staff and border officials.
Passengers have to take a test at certified lab before uploading it on CommoPass app.
This uploaded test will then generate a QR code that can be later used by airline staff and border officials to scan.
This phone software is a digital health pass which can hold a certified COVID-19 test status or show someone has been vaccinated in future in a way designed to satisfy various governments' different regulations.
It has been launched by non-profit trust Commons Project Foundation, part of the World Economic Forum, in the hope of it will end the days of flyers producing bits of paper, often in different languages.
CommonPass says it adheres to tight privacy principles and is designed to protect personal data in compliance with relevant privacy regulations.
Risk Factor:
The only risk here in launching the CommonPass software at most airports across the country is that official authorities will have to trust the corona virus test results taken at foreign labs.
The trails are going on and will continue to take place untill a conclusive proof is obtained to analyse the data statistically.
Let's hope for the best outcome.
See you in the next blog.
Keep Dreamin'
Ciao.
